KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Bernama) -- Thirty foreigners from 18
countries -- Russia, Germany, Italy and Pakistan -- participated in
"Foreigner's View of Jiangsu -- Visit to Dafeng Milu Deer Hometown"
event recently to experience the unique charm of Dafeng, China.
The event was sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province.
Located at the intersection of north and south coastal development areas in Jiangsu Province, Dafeng is an important node of the Belt and Road Initiative and has the nature-endowed location advantage.
The event promoted ecology and characteristic tourism of Dafeng comprehensively and also displayed the ecological development concepts and achievements of Dafeng profoundly.
It also built a solid bridge for civilization communication, cultural exchange and friendship between China and foreign countries and also for spreading warm hospitality of Dafeng people to all corners of the world, a statement said.
Among the places visited during the event were; Dream Maze -- the largest botanic maze in the world; Dafeng National Milu Deer Nature Reserve -- the world's largest Milu Deer gene bank and "Van Gogh Alive 2" art exhibition.
