KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Bernama) -- Teledyne Technologies company and vision solutions innovator, Teledyne e2v, has widened its Emerald family of CMOS image sensors, with a new 5 Megapixel device.
Now, the Emerald family of sensors is available in resolutions of 2, 8.9, 12, 16 and 67 Megapixels.
The latest Emerald™ 5M is designed for machine vision, Automated Optical Inspection and factory automation applications that require higher resolution images of objects in motion, with no distortion.
It is also designed to enable fast, wide-range operation and includes powerful unique patented features and region of interest modes.
In addition, the device is able to provide flexibility to research and development engineers with its global shutter and MIPI CSI-2 interface, which allows it to utilise the latest Image Signal Processors available for mobile applications.
