Singapore – Hyland, creator of OnBase and a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services (https://www.hyland.com/en/resources/white-paper/gartner-content-services), have consolidated their position as a major technology provider for the insurance industry in Singapore.
Hyland will showcase its advanced content services solutions, equipped with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Intelligent Capture, at the Asia Insurance Review's 19th annual Asia CEO Insurance Summit(http://www.asiainsurancereview.com/Events/Home/Asia/CEO2019) March 12-13. The theme for this event will be: "Capitalising on digital transformation; disruptive versus enabling strategies."
Following the acceleration of digital transformation in the industry, Hyland has observed an increased uptake in services such as Brainware Intelligent Capture (https://www.hyland.com/en/products/brainware), now being deployed across the insurance sector to accurately sort paper and electronic documents and seamlessly pass content to core business applications. Use of such services is allowing insurance organisations to reduce costs and improve speed, accuracy and transparency by minimising repetitive, manual tasks at the same time as removing bottlenecks.
This allows an organisation to more efficiently process documents across different file types, in different languages and through multiple departments. Intelligent capture is the fastest and most accurate way to capture content on the front end and deliver it wherever it is required.
"There is a significant amount of pressure being applied to insurers to digitise and modernise, most of which comes from high-tech competitors or even the customers themselves. These days, services and customer touchpoints need to be fast, frictionless experiences or people will go elsewhere. In order to achieve that, it is important apply the right technology to streamline practices," said Eugene Chng, APAC sales director at Hyland.
Hyland has earmarked 2019 as the year that RPA and Intelligent Capture will make a significant impact on the insurance market in Singapore, extending the range of content services solutions that the organisation provides to customers in the region.
"While our solutions, such as OnBase, have been an integral part of many insurance organisations' technology strategies, we have begun to see much greater demand for extended content services solutions. Our customers recognise that a mature, digital organisation needs to capture all documentation and convert it to data, then automate processes and negate manual, labour-intensive tasks. Our content services product portfolio helps do just this, in a secure environment," concludes Chng.
