Fusionex Founder & Group CEO receives Paul Harris Fellow Award



KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 -- Fusionex Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Datuk Seri Ivan Teh received the distinguished Paul Harris Fellow Award recently.

The Rotary Club’s highest honour was presented at the Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja’s 92nd Anniversary Installation Gala Dinner.

Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, who was present at the event, also received the Paul Harris Fellow’s highest honours.

“I am humbled and honoured to receive this tremendous recognition alongside other noble philanthropists who have contributed greatly to these exemplary causes,” said Teh in a statement.

“I’m glad to play a small but hopefully, meaningful role in doing our part as global citizens, and will continue to do so in any way I can.”

Established in 1957, the award acknowledges individuals who have made significant contributions and supported philanthropic efforts such as immunising children from polio and providing clean water to impoverished areas worldwide.

Among prominent figures who had been past recipients of the Paul Harris Fellowship include former United States (US) president Jimmy Carter; former Russian president Boris Yeltsin; US astronaut James Lovell; former United Nations secretary-general Javier Perez de Cuellar; and, Jonas Salk, inventor of the polio vaccine.
