KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- Benchmark Mineral Intelligence (Benchmark Minerals) has appointed Vivas Kumar as Principal Consultant, joining its Forecast & Consultancy Division.
Kumar joined from Tesla, one of the world’s foremost electric vehicle and lithium-ion battery producers.
“During my previous experiences at McKinsey and Tesla, I consistently relied on Benchmark Minerals for their objective knowledge and unique insights on the rapidly transforming battery supply chain.
He said in the global shift to more environmentally sustainable technologies, the battery industry remained vastly under-invested.
“I look forward to arming this supply chain with the world’s leading lithium price assessments, data and analysis as we enter a new phase of the energy storage revolution,” he said.
Kumar will be speaking on the North American leg of Benchmark Minerals' World Tour 2019, visiting New York (May 6), Toronto (May 8), Chicago (May 10), San Francisco (May 13) and Vancouver (May 15).
