He joined ARRIS in 2017 when the company acquired Ruckus, where Ho worked as vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan, since 2013.

Ho began his career as a software engineer with Bell Northern Research in Canada, which later became Nortel Networks, serving the company as director, wireless solutions, Asia Pacific, and then as managing director, Intelligent Business Unit, Asia Pacific, overseeing Nortel’s enterprise networking business in the region. In 2005, he joined Cisco, where he was a key executive responsible for building Cisco’s business in Asia and China. Over a period of nearly ten years, Ho led Cisco’s Mobile Service Provider business and strategy for Asia Pacific, and later served as the senior vice president of Cisco China.

Cohesity has grown its presence in the Asia Pacific region as more enterprises reduce their reliance on legacy point products and instead embrace modern data management solutions. Recently signed customers in the region include True Alliance and Vita Group. Cohesity has partnered with leading resellers and cloud service providers Data#3, Nexion Networks, Secure Agility, and Spectrum Consulting in Australia and New Zealand.

“William has an incredible track record driving growth within enterprise technology companies and we’re excited to have him lead sales in a market that is critical to Cohesity’s success,” said Mark Parrinello, vice president of worldwide sales, Cohesity.
