Mikimoto launches new jewellery collection at Paris store

KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 (Bernama) -- Japan's internationally known Mikomoto launched its new collection of high jewellery at its Paris store recently.

K. Mikimoto & Co Ltd, headquartered in Tokyo launched the collection -- 'Jeux de Rubans' -- at its Paris store as part of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2018/2019.

Mikimoto reflected the accolade by making its store at 8 Place Vendome, the venue for the new collection of high jewellery portraying the timeless motif of ribbons with a touch of luxurious whimsy, a statement said.

Following the launch in Paris, the company has scheduled another in Japan on Sept 29. This year also marks its founder - Kokichi Mikimoto - in the cultivation of pearls for 125 years.
