KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- 28Mall.com, the licence holder for Miss Talent International Competition for Malaysia, has announced the Miss Talent International Competition (Malaysia) 2018 audition is now opened with cash and prizes worth RM200,000 to attract talented Malaysians to join the competition, and the winner will represent Malaysia to participate in the International competition in Hong Kong in May, 2018.
“We are proud to bring this international competition to Malaysia with a view to unveil the talents of Malaysian women to the world. And we are making this possible in collaboration with our partners and sponsors in Malaysia for the Malaysia edition finals to be held in May 2018,” said Fione Tan founder of 28Mall.com and the organizing chairperson of Miss Talent International Competition Malaysia 2018.
“This is not another beauty pageant as we are focused on the talents and the social media savviness of the contestants so that the winners can be the social media ambassadors and key influencers for 28Mall and our brands and sponsors,” added Tan.
The major highlight of the Malaysia edition competition is the introduction of Malaysia’s first Miss Social Media Award. This Award with attractive cash and prizes worth RM50,000 will be presented to the winner with the best social media engagement during the contest period, and will be appointed Social Media Ambassador and Influencer for 28Mall and their sponsors, and the first Miss Social Media Hong Kong award presented in the competition in January was won by Alice Au, according to Tan.
The Press Conference will be held at 12 noon on 14 March in MyTown Shopping Centre to be followed by the Audition from 2.30pm. Interested applicants may apply at www.misstalentmalaysia.com and those who attend the audition will be rewarded with RM600 shopping coupon.
