KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd (TPM) will be actively sharing entrepreneurship opportunities at the Eastern Edition of BAHTERA 2018 exhibition starting tomorrow in Kuantan, Pahang.
TPM president and chief executive officer, Datuk Ir. Mohd Azman Shahidin said TPM was confident that its participation in the first series of BAHTERA 2018 would be an eye-opener for the Bumiputera community to seize opportunities from the various assistance provided by the relevant ministries and government agencies to support and enhance sustainable development and growth of their businesses.
"TPM, as the enabler of science, technology and innovation (STI), has more than 20 years of experience in the cluster industry of information and communications technology (ICT), biotechnology, engineering and renewable energy.
"It is our hope that more Bumiputeras, especially the young generation, would make greater effort in exploring business opportunities through the STI initiatives," he said in a statement, here, today.
The two-day Eastern Edition of BAHTERA 2018, an acronym of Bumipreneurs of Tomorrow is organised by the National Entrepreneurship Development Office, Ministry of Finance. It aims to heighten awareness and spur business opportunities among the Bumiputera community.
Technology Park Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an agency of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, has integrated infrastructure, facilities and support services to assist technopreneurs and entrepreneurs who are keen to commercialise their ideas in the four industry clusters, namely, ICT, engineering, biotechnology and green technology.
