DGB Is NTT Communications' First Partner In Malaysia For Managed Services

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- NTT Communications Corporation today announced Diversified Gateway Berhad (DGB) as its first partner in Malaysia to provide NTT Com´s Global Management One (GMOne) managed services. 

This partnership is part of NTT Com´s expansion strategy for its managed services in the region, following Singapore and Hong Kong.

According to a statement, both companies will leverage complementary strengths to provide managed services based on automation to medium and large-sized enterprise customers in Malaysia.

GMOne services are designed to meet the requirements of enterprise customers which need to manage an increasingly complex and hybrid information and communication technology (ICT) environment.

It is a one-stop global solution that helps companies manage their entire hybrid ICT ecosystem, from infrastructure through business applications to business services, and helps customers maximise the benefits from their Hybrid ICT without compromising on security and reliability.

"Malaysia is a rapidly developing market and one of the key Southeast Asian markets for us.

"Teaming up with a partner such as DGB, which understands local needs and can build solutions that include our managed services, is something that we were looking for, " said senior vice president of Managed Services at NTT Com, Hirofumi Miyama.

Meanwhile, Diversified Gateway Berhad´s executive director, Datuk Dr Tan Seng Chuan said the company saw the market potential while its customers were looking for such comprehensive managed services.

Under this partnership, both companies will craft solutions consisting of NTT Com´s GMOne managed services and DGB´s enterprise network and infrastructure services.

Emerio Malaysia (an NTT Communications company) will assist DGB in joining the partner programme and with go-to-market and pre-sales activities, as well as facilitate transitioning DGB´s customers to GMOne.
