KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 (Bernama) -- Tesco Stores (Malaysia) and PINTAR Foundation have made a
commitment to adopt 59 underserved schools to enrich the student's life through
good education, health and nutrition awareness and greener living activities
for the next three years.
In a statement today, Tesco Malaysia
chief executive officer Paul Ritchie said Tesco Malaysia had set aside RM1.5
million for the first year, to help 54,000 children across nine states in
Peninsular Malaysia.
"We believe in making a positive
impact in the communities where we operate. As a corporate citizen, we have the
responsibility to contribute back to the community in a sustainable way.....
