Cloudflare new Munich office to help grow brand awareness

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- Cloudflare Inc -- a leading Internet performance and security company -- opened an office in Munich, Germany to help the company grow brand awareness, acquire customers and recruit new talent.

The new office is its first office in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). It marks Cloudflare’s second office in Europe, following the company’s European headquarters in London, a statement said.

Cloudflare’s first head of DACH, Stefan Henke, will oversee and lead the company’s sales in Germany and the broader DACH region.

“As Cloudflare considered locations for its second European office, Munich, a hub of technology innovation and business, seemed like an obvious choice,” said co-founder & CEO of Cloudflare, Matthew Prince.

Cloudflare’s network is already spread across the DACH region with presence in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich, Zurich and Vienna. It is planning further expansion in the region as it continues to grow its network beyond 150+ data centers globally.

The new office presents a unique opportunity to be closer to customers in the fast-growing DACH market. With more than 10 million domains on Cloudflare’s network, the company already has many customers across the DACH region.

Cloudflare Inc is on a mission to help build a better Internet. The company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers more than 10 trillion requests per month, which is nearly 10 percent of all Internet requests. More details on www.cloudflare.com.
