KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Vricon -- a global leader in 3D data and solutions -- has achieved more than doubled for its year-over-year sales growth rate and set a record pace for new customer acquisition.
Among Vricon's achievements include the increased sales by 130 per cent over the previous 12 months from early 2018, generated revenue of US$10 million in first quarter of 2018 and launching of new Telco Suite for the telecommunication sector in February 2018.
Chief executive officer of Vricon, Magnus Brege said the defense community and other industry sectors have recognised their products and solutions to create new opportunities effectively and overcome challenges.
The company has built an international commercial clientele which contribute over seven per cent to their revenue and it has grown quickly. Vricon also has increased its support of foreign government clients who generate roughly 35 per cent of its revenue, a statement said.
Vricon uses automated 3D image-processing algorithms inside a state-of-the-art high-performance computing environment to produce its high-resolution 3D data and solutions for government and commercial clients.
It's expansion into the telecommunications sector reflects a critical need of telecommunications companies for next-generation geodata solutions that allow them to design networks that can perform optimally for 4G LTE and accommodate the 5G environment to empower smart homes and the Internet of Things.
