KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 (Bernama) – KL Gateway Mall will be
delivering huggable teddy bears donated by shoppers to the Paediatric Ward of
Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) on Dec 22 to spread the
Christmas festive cheer and bring smiles to the children at the
hospital.
In a
statement issued here today, Suez Capital Sdn Bhd said the huggable teddy
bears were donated by shoppers at the teddy bear collection box
at Central Piazza of the mall.
"As
a community mall, we play an important role to ensure that the community around
us benefits from our activities. We hope that the donation and delivery of the
teddy bears will help to bring festive season cheer to the children,” the
statement said.
Members
of the public and shoppers who are interested to purchase and donate teddy
bears for the cause are welcome to do so until Dec 20.
Meanwhile,
as part of the holiday celebrations, the mall has been
transformed into a teddy bear wonder land with its Central Piazza
decorated with a giant teddy bear and other teddy bear themed
decorations.
Located
in Bangsar South, the mall, which is part of the KL Gateway integrated
development project, is being developed by Suez Capital Sdn Bhd through
its subsidiary Suez Domain Sdn Bhd.
