CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR MYCREATIVE'S STARGLITZ 3.0 AND F'STREET

PETALING JAYA, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- Starglitz 3.0 and F’Street are calling for potential contestants. Both The Starglitz 3.0 and F’Street are amongst the initiatives by MyCreative to provide promotional opportunities to the singers, cooks and bakers driving the Malaysian creative scenes as well as a platform for the industry experts to discover fresh talents.

StarGlitz 3.0 is open to all Malaysians aged 16 and above. Contestants (solo or group) are  required to submit a clip of them singing with a minimum duration of 60 seconds to a maximum of 90 seconds and upload it onto YouTube. Other than that, there is no restriction to the language or genre of the song selected, and applicants may choose between singing a song, playing musical instrument or both.

The shortlisted contestants will then be announced on 9 October 2017 via MyCreative’s official Facebook page and the shortlisted video will be uploaded for public viewing and public voting.  MyCreative shall shortlist the Top 10 finalists that will be called for a Live Performance in front of a panel of judges on 25 November 2017. The competition offers a total of RM13,000 worth of cash prizes and demo recordings  to three selected winners of StarGlitz 3.0.

On the other hand, MyCreative also aims to celebrate the culinary skills of cooks and bakers in Malaysia through F’Street – The first culinary showdown by MyCreative. F’Street  is open to all Malaysians that have passion in food and culinary business.

Contestants are required to submit food concept and current business model and shortlisted contestants will be required to present a sample of their signature dish/dessert at a time and place to be informed by the organisers. The finalists will be determined upon the deliberation from the food presentation and to be notified by 20^th October 2017. A competition day will be held on 27^th November 2017 where the finalists shall compete and have the opportunity to showcase and sell their signature dish/dessert and culinary skills.

The competition awards RM3,500 each for the champions of signature dish and baking/desserts categories.

Deadline of submissions for both StarGlitz 3.0 and F’Street  will be on 30 September 2017.
