KUALA
LUMPUR, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd (Exim Bank) has
allocated RM1 million annually for its continued corporate social
responsibility (CSR) programmes.
Chairman
Datuk Mat Noor Nawi said the bank plans nationwide CSR programmes this year.
He added
that the programmes would be based on applications and feedback from Exim Bank
staff.
He told
reporters this after a RM10,000 cheque handover to an orphanage, Madrasah
Hashimiah Tahfiz Al-Quran & Anak Yatim here today.
Apart from
the cheque, Exim Bank also contributed basic necessities.
The
orphanage shelters 171, including Rohingya refugees.
