KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Bernama) -- A module of integrity learning is being planned to be inserted into courses in local teaching institutions, said the Malaysian Institute of Integrity.
MII president Dr Anis Yusal Yusoff said the institute belived that education was a key element in countering corruption.
Anis said MII was collaborating with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris to develop the module, which UPSI would use in a pilot project.
"We are developing this module so that it can be used to teach students of each subject in UPSI on the understanding of good ethics, integrity and noble values," he told Bernama.
He was met after presenting a paper on the Importance of Good Practice in Public Procurement at the 5th Annual National Procurement and Integrity Forum for Public and Private Sectors 2016 here today
Anis said MII would meet the Education Ministry next week on the possibility of using such a module for other local teaching institutions.
