Cloudflare serves modern internet with HTTP/3 support

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- Cloudflare has announced support for HTTP/3, the new standard of the web, making the Internet faster, more secure and reliable.

The security, performance and reliability company has collaborated with industry peers, including Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, to bring HTTP/3 to the masses and progress the Internet into the future.

HTTP/3 is built on top of QUIC, designed for the modern Internet. It will speed up connections and make use of the web more reliable and secure, especially for mobile devices.

Innovations in the HTTP/3 standard include encryption by default, improved performance and support for network migration.

All Cloudflare customers can enable HTTP/3 in their dashboard today, for free. The latest version of Chrome includes support for HTTP/3 while Firefox is expected soon.
