PROMOTING MALAYSIAN GAMES INTERNATIONALLY THROUGH KICKSTARTER

PETALING JAYA, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Game Developers have been trying to get funding through many ways such as grants, seed money, VCs and even loans from Banks to develop their games. It is very encouraging to see Game Entrepreneurs being independent to seek their own ways and means to get funding and a few have been trying their luck via crowdfunding portal, Kickstarter.

Education game developer, ACE EdVenture Studio is taking its first feature gameChemCaper Act I: Petticles in Peril to Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight. In an effort to bring the game to as many kids as possible including locations without the internet access. The campaign on the popular crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter started on the 11 January 2016 and will be used to find backers for the game’s PC version.
